Happy Holidays
Here at TekBusters, Christmas is our favourite time of year. Gerry is looking forward to a white one instead of the traditional Irish wet one and Ursula is planning on enough Christmas lights to light up an airstrip.

Defragmenting a hard drive
Over time, the hard drive on your computer get’s very messy and files get fragmented. This is like a filing cabinet where nothing is put back in the right order. After a while it takes a long time to find anything, and on your computer this slows everything down.
Luckily sorting through files and reordering them is just the kind of work a computer likes, so there is a program to do this.

Is it any good?
Should I upgrade?
We’ve all heard about Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 7, which was released on October 22nd. Everyone has some questions. Mainly a) “Is it any good?” and b) “Should I upgrade?” The answers look like a) yes, and b) no.
Lots of people have had issues with Windows Vista, in fact it seems to be the least liked operating system since Windows ME. Windows 7 promises to be a whole lot better, but at the moment, here at TekBusters, we’re holding off on the upgrades. Like many other IT companies, we’ve tested Windows 7, and what we’ve seen so far, we’ve liked.
